In 1960 London Emil Shallit and Siggy Jackson launched The Blue Beat Label and in the process created one of the most iconic, legendary, best loved and acclaimed independent record labels of all time.
As part of the celebrations of 60 years of the label a 12" black vinyl version of the compilation album THE BLUE BEAT LABEL SIXTY YEAR CELEBRATION ALBUM ‘Blue Beat Is Back In Town’ will be released on Friday December 11th 2020.
The album release features tracks from and related to The Blue Beat Label's culture-shaping history.
THE BLUE BEAT LABEL SIXTY YEAR CELEBRATION ALBUM ‘Blue Beat Is Back In Town’ will go on sale on Friday December 11th.
The 12" black vinyl album, mastered at Abbey Road Studios, is presented in black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve.
This album celebrates the 60th anniversary of the legendary label.
